This is a good book to use if you are a teacher teaching Tangrams. The book explains a little bit about the history of Tangrams. A grandfather is telling a story to his grandchild about animals while using Tangrams to visually create the animals in the story for his grandchild. Grandfather Tang quickly switches the Tangrams around to make the next animal in the story.

This book is an excellent teacher resource. It provides a fun and exciting way to teach Tangrams to students. The teacher can quickly read the book to the students and then let them practice making up their own stories using Tangrams.
