This is a book about a character named Owen who is very attached to his baby blanket which he calls Fuzzy. Owen takes Fuzzy everywhere he goes. The neighbor lady is trying to tell Owen’s parents that they need to take his blanket away. They try many different things in order to get Owen to give up his blanket but nothing works. When Owen starts school, his parents tell him that he cannot take the blanket to school. Owen’s mother gets a brilliant idea and decides to make the blanket into a handkerchief so Owen can still take Fuzzy with him everywhere.

Personal Rating- 5

Every child has an item that is like a security net to them. I had a blanket when I was little that I took with me everywhere. When my parents finally took it away from me I cried. It took me a long time to adjust to not being able to have it at bedtime. This is a good book for all children to read because they can relate with it.
