Junie B. Jones and some Sneaky Peeky Spying
by Barbra Park
66 Pages

Junie B. Jones is a very good detective because she has quiet feet and her nose doesn’t whistle when she breathes. Well, at least that is what she thinks. Junie B. has been told by her mother several times not to be spying on people. One day, Junie B. goes to the grocery store with her mother and spots her teacher there. Junie B. decides to be sneaky and spy on her. Junie B. ends up seeing her teacher kiss a man at the store and does not know what to think! Junie B. is stuck in quite a predicament because she can’t tell anyone that she was spying or else she will get herself in trouble! What is a girl to do?

Personal Rating- 5

This is a very adventurous book. Barbra Park was very creative in writing this story. She really got into the character of a five year old and wrote about things they think about. I could just see a little kid seeing their teacher at the store and not knowing what to think seeing them with their family. Again, Junie B. is just a fun and spunky character and that is what makes this series so enjoyable!
